Vignettes of interior spaces and experiences are my favorite works to create. I love the visual narrative, the chance to capture a moment in time. Often these tableaux are in many ways a portrait of the simplicity or the beautiful chaos of our private daily lives, capturing the essence and personal touches that make our surroundings uniquely ours.
My illustrations are archival quality hand painted watercolor renderings that are hand drawn in my loose doodly style with graphite and aquarelle pencil and lovely, rich, archival inks on 100% cotton fine art paper. I use only lightfast pigments to achieve heirloom pieces that will stand the test of time and retain their beautiful colors.
To begin the process, simply purchase the illustration online. After your purchase, kindly email me at pennypinestudio@gmail.com with the image of your interior space that you wish to have illustrated. Feel free to provide specific details or preferences for the composition. If the commission is for a special occasion such as a move, a birthday, anniversary, or holiday, please include the desired completion deadline, ensuring a minimum of 4 weeks from the date of purchase.
In your email, include the following information:
- Essential elements that must be included in the illustration.
- Any items or elements you would like to be removed.
- Additional edits or specific details you’d like to be incorporated into the artwork.
- Clarify the color details of items within the vignette if they are not clearly visible in the provided image.
- Specify your preference for the illustration’s orientation, whether vertical or horizontal.
- Let me know if you would like any hand lettering added to the piece.
Upon receiving your email, I will personally confirm the receipt of your message, images, and information. I will also provide you with an estimated completion date for the illustration and communicate the start date for the commission.
Please note that custom pieces are non-refundable once the work has commenced, and returns or exchanges are not accepted.
